What people want to know
At Life Strategy Partners, we differentiate ourselves by combining deep, tax-focused financial planning with a structured, repeatable process that’s tailored to each life stage. Our Life Plan 360 framework integrates retirement income design, tax strategy, estate planning, investments, and risk management into one coordinated plan, updated through a spring/fall meeting cadence so clients always know what we’re working on and what comes next.
We are a fee-only, fiduciary firm with no commissions, no product quotas, and fully transparent pricing. Our investment philosophy is evidence-based and disciplined, favoring broadly diversified portfolios over chasing headlines or short-term performance. We spend as much time on “how to use the money” (cash flow, tax maps, Social Security, Medicare, legacy) as we do on “how to invest it,” and we regularly coordinate with clients’ CPAs and attorneys so everyone is working from the same playbook.
Because we also teach and build educational content, we place a premium on clarity: plain-English explanations, simple visuals, and concrete next steps. Clients don’t just get a plan; they get an ongoing thinking partner to help them make confident decisions as their lives and the tax laws change.
As a registered investment adviser, we are legally and ethically required to act as a fiduciary, always putting your interests first. We do not receive commissions on products or trades; our only compensation comes directly from you. Our pricing is straightforward and fully transparent, so you always know exactly what you’re paying and why.
Our Life Plan 360 service combines continuous, comprehensive financial life planning with evidence-based investment management. We’re your thinking partner through life’s transitions, helping you weigh options, coordinate tax and estate strategies, and stay aligned with what matters most to you and your family.
How Our Pricing Works
We use a blended, assets-under-management (AUM) pricing schedule, with two models:
1) Hybrid Pricing Model (No asset minimum)
For clients starting with less than $500,000 of assets under management:
0.30% of Assets Under Management, plus
$300 per month for comprehensive financial planning
Total Price: 0.30% of AUM + $300 per month
Once your managed assets reach $500,000 or more, your pricing automatically transitions to our Standard Pricing Model as soon as administratively feasible.
2) Standard Pricing Model (For clients with $500,000+ in assets under management)
Annual pricing is based on a blended schedule:
$0 – $1,500,000 → 1.00%
$1,500,001 – $5,000,000 → 0.80%
$5,000,001 – $10,000,000 → 0.50%
$10,000,001 – $25,000,000 → 0.40%
$25,000,001 – $50,000,000 → 0.30%
$50,000,001 – $100,000,000 → 0.25%
$100,000,000 and above → 0.20%
Because this is a blended pricing schedule, each tier’s rate applies only to the assets within that tier, not your entire portfolio.
We work with clients from many backgrounds and life stages, and we know every financial journey is unique. Our goal is to provide clarity, structure, and support to those who are ready to be intentional with their wealth.
To deliver the level of planning and service we’re known for, Life Plan 360 is designed for clients who generally meet the following guidelines:
Life Plan 360 for Accumulators Typically best for individuals or households with $150,000+ in annual income who are in their prime earning years and want a clear strategy for saving, investing, and significant life decisions.
Life Plan 360 for Pre-Retirees Typically best for those who have saved around $500,000 or more and are within about 10 years of retirement, and want coordinated investment, tax, and retirement timing strategies.
Life Plan 360 for Retirees Typically best for those who have saved around $1,000,000 or more and are already retired, and want help designing sustainable retirement income, tax-smart withdrawals, and legacy plans.
We are especially well-suited for disciplined savers who want expert guidance to manage complex investments, taxes, Social Security, Medicare, and estate planning—in an integrated way. Our team’s advanced training and designations keep us current with changing tax laws, regulations, and planning opportunities.
If it turns out we’re not the right fit for your situation, we’ll still do our best to answer your questions and point you toward other resources or professionals who may be better aligned with your needs.
You can expect a structured rhythm plus extra time when life gets busy.
During your first year, we typically meet more often as we build your Life Plan 360:
- Get Acquainted / Discovery
- Deep-dive data & goal session
- Plan presentation & implementation
- 60-day progress check
After that, most clients meet with us at least twice per year:
- Spring Meeting – tax planning, cash flow, savings/income strategy, portfolio review
- Fall Meeting – year-end tax moves, retirement/goal updates, benefits and open enrollment, big-picture review
On top of that, we’re available anytime life changes, retirement dates shift, you sell a business, receive an inheritance, change jobs, exercise stock options, buy property, etc. Many clients will have short check-ins by phone or Zoom between formal meetings when questions come up.
So in practice: Plan on two core meetings per year, with additional check-ins whenever something important changes in your life.
We’re best suited for people who are good savers but short on time, structure, or tax strategy and who want a long-term thinking partner, not just an investment account.
In practice, the clients who benefit most are:
Accumulators (typically $150,000+ household income) who want a clear plan for saving, investing, stock-based compensation, and significant life decisions.
Pre-retirees (usually ~$500,000+ saved) within about 10 years of retirement who need help coordinating investments, tax planning, retirement dates, and Social Security/Medicare decisions.
Retirees (usually ~$1,000,000+ saved) who want a structured, tax-smart withdrawal strategy, ongoing portfolio oversight, and a clear plan for healthcare and legacy.
We’re especially valuable for professionals, business owners, and retirees who have multiple accounts, complex tax questions, or competing goals and want everything pulled together into one coordinated, easy-to-follow Life Plan 360.
Yes. We start every new relationship with a complimentary Get Acquainted Call so we can both see if there’s a good fit. In that 15-minute conversation, we’ll learn what prompted you to reach out, answer your initial questions, and explain how our Life Plan 360 process works—there’s no advice given and no pressure to commit.
If it feels right on both sides, the next step is a longer Discovery Meeting, where we use tools like our Success Habits Scorecard to dive deeper into your situation and outline where we can add real value before you decide whether to move forward.
